Dunning Smith is the owner of Hotel Dusk. Throughout the game he seems to be pretty rude. He's a stubborn forty-nine year old man who dislikes cops, crooks, and trouble in equal measure. He tells Kyle the story of Room 215. It is revealed later in the game that Dunning has a daughter named Jenny and a wife who passed away in a plane crash in 1960. He appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a sticker.
