Pokémon Unova III is a special version of Generation IX, it takes place three years after Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2, meaning it also takes place five years after Pokémon Black and Pokémon White. It concludes the destiny of Unova, since the citizens are still confused about their relationship with Pokémon after the incidents with Team Plasma for the past five years. The game features a very expanded version of Unova, which has grown so much thanks to the great economy. Unova has become so big it is no longer a region but has become the first ever state in the Pokémon franchise.
