Schumacher is a community just east of the main urban area of Timmins, Ontario. Is was part of the former Tisdale Township, which was amalgamated with Timmins in 1973. The Schumacher Fire Department was Tisdale Township Fire Area 1. The Schumacher FD became part of the Timmins Fire Department.
