Dieter Dachshund is the owner of "Dieter Dachshund's School for Bark Counting." He appears in episode 3143 of Sesame Street. He is one of the sponsors of WUFF Radio and appears in the station to read his commercial, advertising his school. He demonstrates how well he can count barks. Later, the station gets a call from Conchita Chihuahua, who runs a rival counting school (only her school teaches Spanish counting). She challenges Dieter to a bark-off live on air.
