Once the Muir had conquered the X1999 from pirates for the Morios Empire, the Morios said that they didn't wish to over extend themselves by taking over another system, thus giving the system to the Muir. Though it was the first time any of the Muir tried their hands are administrating anything larger than various assets and properties around the galaxy, they decided to take up the task.
