Gonryomaru is a very polite and honorable Zanpakutō Spirit, at least to others who are not his wielder. He is generally quiet and solitary, but tries harder to act cool when other people are around; having a strong sense of honor that transcends reason, never going back on his word. He has a tendency to say things melodramatically; and can be slightly hammy if the situation requires it to be. He often refers to people by the -dono honorific, which means lord or master.
