Richard Adams was the author of several novels, including Watership Down and Tales from Watership Down. He also wrote many other novels, including Shardik, The Girl in the Swing, and The Plague Dogs, the latter two also being adapted into their own films. After the sucess of Watership Down, Adams became a full-time author. Sadley, Adams passed away on 24 December 2016 at the age of 96. His death was announced by his daughter.
