Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits Company was founded by Jack White, Peter A'Hearn and Yuseff Cherney in 1996 in the Miramar area of San Diego, CA. Ballast Point Brewing Co. started in the back of Home Brew Mart, White's home-brew supply store. It has grown to feature 5 brick-and-mortar locations and now distributes beer and spirits internationally.
