The Crimson Empire's Zero-G Trooper marked the support unit of the Corps, and underwent special training. The pinnacle of Corps training and experience was that of a Zero-G Trooper. They performed space-based boarding operations, zero-gravity individual flight, on-orbit duties, operated payloads and provided consultation to activities and other government agencies. They served as an integral part of deep space operations when more conventional methods were unavailable, or deemed too risky.
