The Hibashira Clan (ひばしら一族, Hibashira Ichizoku) is a relatively young clan that was founded somewhere during the Era of Warring States through a series of marriage pacts made between the Senju Clan. Settling in the southwest corner of the country, the head of the Hibashira Clan is named Guardian of the Southern Gate (城代の南方, Jōdai no nanpō; Castle keepers of the south) and are endowed with protecting the border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Wind.
