[Source] The Remitik system was a star system located near the Hoth system. In 3 ABY, an Alliance to Restore the Republic repair yard was located there, near Remitik. In preparation for the Battle of Hoth, the Galactic Empire launched an attack on the yard. After the repair yard was destroyed, the Imperial forces ambushed the Rebel craft retreating from Hoth.
