He seems to be an unlucky man whose wife left him and probably the town altogether, because his wife doesn't show up on the Alvi family tree. He works at the office building for a living and tries to raise his sons alone, but things aren't working out well, as his eldest son, VJ, blames Iqbal for his mother leaving and has grown into having a rebellious and Evil personality, causing mischief around the neighborhood and tormenting Iqbal on a regular basis. His youngest son Miraj, however is trying to repair the relationship between VJ and his father because of his Good and Family-Oriented personality.
