Shoka Pian was a female Bajoran in the 24th century. In the 2370s she served as a communications consultant in the Bajoran Militia. In April of 2376, Shoka volunteered to help fill shifts on Deep Space 9 following a Jem'Hadar attack on the station, she arrived with a shuttle full of engineers and then manned the communications station in Ops. (DS9 - Avatar novel: Book Two)
