In 1998, the name was changed to Buena Vista Television Group. In 2001, Saban purchased Buena Vista, renaming to "BVS Entertainment". In 2002, the name changed to Disney–ABC Television Group. In 2001, Saban, Inc. and News Corporation sold Saban Entertainment and the rest of Fox Family Worldwide, now ABC Family Worldwide, renaming Saban Entertainment to "BVS Entertainment". In 2002, the name changed to Disney–ABC Television Group.
