Reedug narcotic was a popular narcotic in the Anoat sector, grown in the warm climate among the hills of Polmanar. At one point during the Galactic Civil War, reedug farmers rebelled against the Galactic Empire and the tariffs it placed on their product. The Rebel Alliance came to Polmanar's aid by arming guerrilla fighters, and the Empire eventually abandoned its attempted blockade.
