The player receives the Knife after walking out of the Laundry Room of the Main House from the Deputy after encountering him. The Knife is required to cut the tape to open the box with the Garage door switch. Beyond that the knife is exceptionally weak and very short ranged making it less than ideal for fighting enemies even when out of ammo. Using the knife in combat requires constant circling of the enemy while swinging and blocking or ducking to avoid taking hits
