Anthony van Hoboken (Rotterdam, 23 March 1887 - Zurich, 1 november 1983) was a Dutch musicologist. His last name betrays no Belgian origin, as is often thought. He was born in Rotterdam, the son of Jacobus van Hoboken from the well-known shipowners genus, which then lived and worked there for generations.
