Alexey Leonov (born May 30, 1934) was a Russian astronaut in the service of the Soviet Union who lived during the 20th and 21st centuries. Following his return to the 23rd century from 1969, James Kirk said he would have been honored to meet Leonov, among other astronauts. (DTI novel: Forgotten History)
