ChatZilla is a Mozilla Firefox add-on that allows Firefox to use the IRC protocol. It is famous for being easily upgradeable, and users can change the colors simply by using a preference window. It is written in JavaScript, and is included in the SeaMonkey application suite. It also can be run as a stand-alone application using XULRunner.
