Farmers often parked vehicles in old barns when they broke down intending to fix it later or when they got a newer one they parked the old vehicle up as a spare. Other vehicles have been found in old barns on estates were somebody looking for cheap storage has rented space to store a vehicle older in to work on it and then never got round to finishing fixing it often after partial dismantling.
