Clearly the "black sheep" of the family, Travers Masterson is a brooding young man with spiky (often disheveled) hair who spends much of his time drunk at local pubs. His knowledge of liquors is astounding, but that's about his only astounding trait. Typically, he wears wine-stained clothes of the nobility, and tends to socialize with ruffians, miscreants, and ne'er-do-wells. However, despite all of his vices, he's not a malicious man; he's simply not well-mannered. Like most most of the British, he harbors a natural superiority that borders on racism, especially against the French.
