Abdon was a Starfleet engineer assigned to Deep Space 9 in the 2370s. On the station he was part of the swing shift. In 2373, Chief Miles O'Brien ordered Abdon's shift to run calibration tests on all of the station's 64 inertial couplings in one day. He would later be assigned yo the cargo bay with fellow officer Nori.
