The story follows a gecko named Gex who goes on different adventures through crazy worlds. He also has a love for television and all things pop culture. It wasn't until the second game in the series, Gex: Enter the Gecko, was released for the Nintendo 64 in 1998 that he first appeared in a Nintendo-related console. He appeared again in a third game, Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko, in 1999.
