Laura Navarre is an American novelist who writes dark medieval and Renaissance romance. Her debut novel was a dark Tudor romance called The Devil's Mistress, about a reluctant lady assassin who's blackmailed to poison Anne Boleyn. It was published by Samhain in June 2010. Her second novel is The Devil's Temptress, a dark Crusader romance featuring a disgraced Muslim knight at Eleanor of Aquitaine's court, which was published by Dorchester in October 2010. Navarre also writes and teaches a workshop on "Sympathy for the Devil: Dark Heroes in Popular Fiction" at various writing conferences, such as the 2010 Emerald City Writers Conference in Seattle, WA.
