Bruce Grenville was the New Zealander who owned the last known print of "The Lion". Doctor Who fans Paul Scoones and Neil Lambess facilitated the return of the missing episode to the BBC Film and Videotape Library. Because of the level of press interest in the January 1999 recovery of "The Lion", Grenville appeared on the BBC One programme, The National Lottery Amazing Luck Stories.
