The Netherworld is the main setting of Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten. Unlike other Netherworlds, this one has a President instead of an Overlord and takes the appearance of being ruled by a democratic body known as the Corrupternment, though in reality, the President is an Overlord in all but name, wielding control over the Netherworld until they are defeated or step down.
