Hekkar was a member of the Kazon-Vistik. He was the nephew of the leader of the Vistik, First maje Dut. In 2372 in an attempt to earn his name, Hekkar attacked a Kazon-Nistrim encampment and was killed. Jal Sittik received much of the blame for this incident. (VOY novel: Mosaic)
