The Imperial Special Naval Operations, or SpecNav for short, was an elite Special Operations unit in the Galactic Empire's Imperial Navy. The SpecNav are highly trained elite soldiers, unknown to the Rebel Alliance and a majority of the Empire. Only around 700 men are in service.
