Lord Akeldama's house is located in one of the most fashionable parts of London. Its outward appearance is very much in keeping with its master: pale lavender with gold trim around every window and door, with a border of lilac bushes, sunflowers, and pansies planted in three levels up to the front steps. The interior is described as a "carnival of delights": with discarded top hats, piles of playbills, the scent of expensive cigars and French cologne, and the background hum of chatter from Lord Akeldama's drones.
