Plas-Tech was a company that produced various synthetic materials. In the mid-21st century, a Plas-Tech warehouse was raided by Blight, seeking barrels of Polymold to maintain his normal appearance. The heist was interrupted by Batman. Blight decided to cut his losses and destroyed several Polymold barrels, setting off a chain reaction, forcing Batman to stay behind and rescue the workers while he escaped.
