The Republic of the Galaxy, also called Galaxy-Bastion or ROG, was a government that was formed from the remnants of the Galactic Federation Triumvirate following its overthrow by a rebellion in 215 ABY, on Bastion. They ruled a quarter of the galaxy, while the other three were dominated by another government formed by the rebels known as the Democratic Republic of the Galaxy.
