Patrick James was a high school student and one of the survivors from the crash of Oceanic Flight 815. Before the crash, he was a somewhat popular high school student who had a long-time crush on Maxxie Carter. On the Island, he became a member of the survivors' society, forming friendships with Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Claire and Sun.
