The light elves are a race of elves that reside in Alfheim. Intially they are neutral during Ragnarok but are forced to give up their sacred treasure, the Sylvan Bow, under veiled threats by Freya. During the negociations, the light elves appear similar to the fairy Freya leaves behind to give advice to Valkyrie. It is likely the light elves are a different race that the elves of the Forest of Spirits. The light elves are called "fairies" il Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, for example the Fairy of Freya below.
