The Northern Reaches was a small Deepwoods city founded during the Third Age of Flight. It was populated predominantly by Fettle-Leggers, most of whom worked in the weaving industry, producing clothing and textiles that were then imported to other settlements in the Edge. By the time of Nate Quarter's adventures, however, a substantial number of Fettle-Leggers had been driven out of work by the industrialization of the weaving industry. A large group of Fettle-Leggers were lured to Sanctaphrax by one of the gloamglozers.
