An Changeling magnetic pulse (CMP), also sometimes called a transient electromagnetic disturbance at the frequency that disrupts Changeling Collective, is a short burst of frequency locked electromagnetic energy. The term "Changeling magnetic pulse" is commonly abbreviated to CMP, pronounced by saying the letters separately (C-M-P).
