The bok-rat or bokrat (boqrat in Klingonese) was a Klingon animal with an edible liver, making it known for being the source of bok-rat liver. A ship, the IKV Boqrat, was named after this animal. Stewed bok-rat liver was served aboard the IKS Rotarran. Jadzia Dax thought it was somewhat unfresh, but that it would be better with bloodwine. (DS9 episode: "Soldiers of the Empire")
