Dante is kidnapped by KAOS's Mr. Big and his device used to threaten the Statue of Liberty as part of an extortion attempt. He is ultimately rescued by Maxwell Smart and Agent 99 but, unable to deactivate the Intermo, he foils the plot by setting it to self-destruct instead.
