The Dune-Krayt war was incited by the Hutts, who had wanted to gain control of Mos Dune by making the governor of Mos Krayt think that the people of Mos Dune were going to attack. This war had lasted from 900,050 ABY-900,100 ABY since the Hutts on Tatooine had mysteriously died. With the Hutts dead,the people of Mos Krayt requested the people of Mos Dune to be their counterparts. The people of Mos Dune agreed. Eventually the 2 counterpart cities jointly controlled the galaxy. For the first time Tatooine was the capital of a major galactic government.
