I have noticed several times that some users remove other users from this list. I can see the implication is that "this user is no longer active or seemingly will never be, so there's no need to keep them on the list," but I feel a bit annoyed by this. Is it necessary? Is it critical to remove them? Is it harmful to leave them there? What if they eventually come back? I'm pretty certain that checking if their name is still on the list is at the bottom of their to-do list; but still, what do you feel if someone removes your name from the entry without your consent?
