USS Texas was a roleplaying game set in the Star Trek universe. The group was open to all experienced and novice writers. An ongoing saga of life in the frontiers of space, the story unfolds with various contributors writing their installations showcasing unique characters in dramatic situations, sent via email to a common mailing list. Each were inspired by the various Star Trek shows, Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise. The group began in 2008.
