Ár Ré held a presidential primary in July 4129 for the upcoming January 4130 elections. The primary was automatically triggered when Ár Ré's incumbent presidential candidate, Tauren Ó Marcaigh, withdrew her candidacy for the Presidency. Minato Monata, the Leader of Ár Ré at the time, won the elections convincingly. A total of 77,835 ballots were cast.
