A government agent's family gets killed after he retires from H.A.M.M.E.R. and is thought to be dead. He survives his assassination and finds out his family was murdered by The Barracuda, a mysterious mob boss whose face is never been seen before. He becomes a vigilante called The Punisher seeking revenge on his family all the while avoiding the authorities who are hunting him down because the punisher's been getting information from and killing or fighting criminals in league with The Shark.
