Some 10,000 prospectors and people attempted the trip to Clymene, and some 8000 eventually made it. People would make the trip from Los Angeles or Vancouver to San Francisco, where boats would take them to Noble City, after which they'd head overland and by boat to Seven and Clymene. Clymene broke into lawlessness, with robberies and fighting common. Everything became very expensive and miners often spent what little they had on alcohol.
