A desert region of Dragaera located to the north of Pepperfield. The region was held for many centuries by Easterners, until the negotiation of the Treaty of the Pepperfields by Khaavren, under which Sandyhome was turned over to the Empire. A parched and dreary wasteland, the region is of no military significance, however, late in the seventeenth Athyra reign, extensive diamond deposits were located in the region, making its aqcuisition by the Empire a substantial economic benefit.
