The Battle of Hansa was a battle of the Cruentusian War. It occurred when two flotillas of the Necasian Military and Srav Federation strayed into each other near the obscure planet of Hansa. A battle ensured in orbit and the ground, and eventually both side's spaceborne forces concluded that victory was not achievable and decimated much of the planet with orbital bombardment, leaving the troops there for dead. Nevertheless, the ground troops had survived and continued fighting for years, dividing the planet's population between them. Eventually, their descendants carried on the fighting, starting a planetary conflict that would go on for years.
