Ben Hansen was a former Third Echelon Splinter Cell operative and operational handler for Splinter Cell agent Archer and Voron agent Kestrel during the events of the Third Echelon Conspiracy in 2011. During the operation, however, he was replaced with Maya Valentina for, what she said, "security reasons". It is unknown what became of Ben Hansen following the Third Echelon Conspiracy after Third Echelon disbanded.
