The settlement of Diggstown was a hub of trade and mining near the East Bastion Elevator and came under the protection of the Red Faction state. It was sponsored by the Martian Mining Coalition and also had several stores including Diggs Surplus. It was one of the first places hit by the Plague and was on Darius Mason's route to Bastion.
