Veverka is the Bremervoord miller's daughter and one of the young women who attends the wedding banquet of Dalia and Gaspard. She requests one of Dandelion's ballads about the Queen Marien and the Raven. She is described as one of the least attractive young women at the event, but Dandelion seemed to have eyes only for her and sang the ballad as if only for her. Geralt was later surprised to find that Veverka was not the object of the bard's affections, but rather being used to make the more beautiful Akeretta jealous.
