Dexter Gainey (November 3, 1930 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Taylors, SC. He competed in two Sprint Cup Series events in his career. Both races came in 1968, when Gainey debuted at Rockingham. Starting 32nd in the field, Gainey was black flagged early and forced to finish the event in 43rd. He didn't fare much better in his other event, finishing 24th at Peach State Speedway after an early crash.
