The Battle of Quzique was a major battle during the Der Hintergedanke Crusades. After the defeat and total annihilation of the Republic's forces, the Der Hintergedanke was able to establish a larger foothold on their way to the Core. The battle was also instrumental in the fact that the many Republic Senators who had been vacationing on the planet had been captured and implanted with slave seeds, giving the cult a lot of sleeper agents within the Republic.
